Default Miltoniopsis Lillian Nakamoto "Tanto"

This is the newest addition to my miltoniopsis collection.
As soon as I saw this large pure white bloom with black center, I was just drawn to them and brought one home.

They look so fake in a good way, and I just love it.
There is no fragrance at all, but I love the flowers.

The whole plant is much smaller compared to my other giant sized miltoniopsis.

I looked up some images under this name and most pictures showed flowers with pink cast toward the center. It could be that this one is missing that color gene or just that the warmer than ideal condition prevent the pink from showing up.
I actually prefer this way with no pink blush.

I love looking at it day and night.

I like it to, I don't know if I'd bring one home, but that's because I'm into slipper orchids. But If I had the space to fill and saw one, I'd get one.

Thanks!

I got this plant at a local farmer's market. The vendor is there on wednesday and saturday.

There was one website where this one is offered, but no longer available.

Thanks, everyone!

I do sense very slight fragrance in the morning, but it's almost nothing compared to other miltoniopsis I have.

This is a very nice cross with unusual dark markings! Congrats! Fragrant too?

Wow! Very unusual. The black marking in the centre looks like a bat to me - reminiscent of a batman logo.

Love it!

I've noticed Miltonipsis colouring can be really sensitive to conditions, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's the difference you are seeing.
