thanks Jenny I think the plant gets all the credit - it really does grow like a weed! I was just figuring it out in my head that this will probably double in size this year! I got a large basket to repot it into, but apparently am still going to need to do some dividing

Yes, that's probably it - it wasn't cold enough that I was concerned about it - daytime temps mid-upper 60s (just cool for us for April and May), BUT getting into spring and summer, the difference between the day and night temps can be a good deal, so may have still gotten overnight lows in the upper 30s

Wow, lovely! I bet it grows just like any other miltonopsis. I grow mine outside. May be you should sell some divisions? Hint, hint...

wish I could send you a piece of this one - hope you can find one - I just sort of stumbled into this one, was buying some divisions on ebay, had three picked out (all Onc alliance intergenerics) and at the last moment I added this one to my purchase. Wouldn't you know two of the others have died, the other grows but doesn't thrive, and this one blooms well and is threatening to take over the patio with very little effort from me!

Lucky stumble for sure and it thrives for you - what more could you ask for.

I'm glad you posted it now I can write the name down again and hunt for it locally. You never know , maybe the greenhouse down here will have it

thanks NYCO - I like the color too!

thanks Ron

I don't know if other Miltonia species are all as easy to grow as this one, but this one definitely has me thinking about trying some other species!
