For those who grow miltoniopsis, do they normally lose leaves after blooms fade and start new growths?
All the miltoniopsis plants I bought are rather large clumps, and it looks like two or three new growths are grown out of one old pbs that have no leaves. Each pot has one or two old pbs, and each of these have three pbs with leaves and flower spikes.
Also, if this is the growth pattern, I am supposed to have very large clumps in the next season. Should I leave them alone (I read somewhere that they do better as a large plant) or split them into more managable size?
Please share your experience here.
Many thanks in advance!
