I just checked the pot and there's one leafless pb from which four pbs have grown, and each of these have 3-4 spikes, hence such a big flower show in 4 inch pot.
Silken- You are right, this one was in almost full bloom with one or two spikes with unopen buds.
It is funny because the same pb that has this pale bloom has another spike that bears much darker flowers.
I guess it's probably the higher temperature in my condition like you suggest.
My yellow one opened up almost all flowers nicely except for two smallish spikes whose buds turned brown and dried up. The whole bloom on that yellow variety is now drying up. It is the shortest lasting of all the miltoniopsis, but it was very pretty.
Now since my other thread got no attention, all the miltoniopsis growers, do the leaves normally turn brown and die out after blooms are gone??
Also, these plants are completely pot bound, but I'm not sure if this is the right time to repot as the summer heat will stress the plant enough?
