The seller told me it's Brassidium FANGtastic, so I know it that although I have no clue if it's Bob Henely or Kalapana.
I looked some more pictures under the names you mentioned and compared to the images I got with fangtastic. Many of the pictures are the same, apparently some pictures are labeled waaaay off.
What I do notice is though, is the shape of the lip. One has a lip that is sharp and narrower towards the bottom end, and the other isn't much so at all.
Another feature I notice is one has petals and sepals very very long while the other isn't much so, resembling many of the miltassia flowers.
Regarding the scent, mine has mildly spicy and sweet scent. It is not strong enough to fill up the room, although that would be amazing! I have to get very close to the flowers to sense it.
By the way, could you tell me about putting black paper on one side of the spike in more detail? I don't get it.

Sorry, I wasn't suggesting you didn't have a Fangtastic, just ilustrating that trying to guess a precise clone is probably not going to be accurate! I'll have to have another look at those clone pics though and see if I can see the differences *G* It seems to me though that a lot of Brassidiums do look very similar.
Since they are definitely different plants, I guess yours will smell differently than mine. But give it a few days before you make the final rating on the scent. Mine varied a lot. LOL Do you get black pepper with yours? I believe that comes from verrucosa, which mine has in it's background too if I'm remembering right.
I'm not sure I can tell you more about the paper, it was just a tip I heard in a talk. I should think it works by stopping light coming (or bouncing) from that direction.

There seems to be some confusion. Bob Henley is not a particular clone of Brsdm FANGtastic. There is no Brsdm FANGtastic. If it really is Brsdm and it really is Fangtastic, then it is Brsdm FANGtastic Bob Henley. That is the name of this cross. Quite a few clones have been distributed, as well as original seedlings, and they do not all look like this one. Lip and petal shapes and markings all vary considerably.
I'm not sure what Kalapana might be, but it is not part of any registered name for a Brsdm or similar hybrid. It could be a clonal name.
Anyway... The plant does appear to be Brassidium (formerly Odontobrassia) FANGtastic Bob Henley, quite a dramatic hybrid. Since you don't even know if it is a clone or a seedling, and you can't know if you can find pictures of all the different clones, determining a clonal name is just impossible.

Thanks for sorting that out: I was thinking Bob Henley was a clone of Fangtastic... That's quite a grex name!

Rowangreen- That's ok, I just meant to say that's the name I got from the seller that this plant is brassidium FANGtastic.
I'm not good at using comparison when describing flower scent. It is subtle but sweet and there is definitely some kind of kick. call it black pepper or something else.
I once had Miltassia C.M. Fitch, which had pretty much the same scent as this one.
