I recently purchased to new Tolumnia's at the Longwood Show. To my dismay I got home to find no tag in one and I think the other was mistagged as the vendor listed was not there. That one, my avatar pic, ended up with a colony of small ants in the cork that was in the pot. Neither were mounted, just held in place in a 2" clay pot with large pieces of cork. In any case I wrote the one that had the tag, to find they don't use cork and do not sell that tolumnia any more, nor were they at the show. Hence this was owned by someone else and passed along through a vendor. But this one has now gone through its initial bloom and formed a second branch and is now forming a third. They've also been potted with a bit of bark and stone. They seem to be doing find and I am hoping the red one, tagged as "Toumnia Jairak Rainbow "orange Glow" seems to be doing fine after ant removal, washing, spraying and repotting. Does anyone have a clue what this Tolumnia variety might be. Pics aren't great but color is pretty good.
