Default psychopsis papilio v.alba

as mentioned before this is 1st time all 3 have opened at the same time. The larger flower is always 1st then drops off and the other 2 smaller flowers open about 2 weeks later. The larger one is just about done as his skirt is starting to shrivel.

this pic was taken right after he opened and right at 2 weeks 3/17/12 .Started to open much sooner.

This plant won a ribbon last year in the OS and then I bought it a few months ago from the owner. So I cant take credit for getting it started, but Ive kept it going and now there my blooms

They only sold it I feel bec they had another one with 6 spikes!!! yikes thats some spikes!!

How beautiful!!! Psychopsis are such great plants. Cool that they are all flowering at the same time!

I love psychopsis. I have one myself that is doing 'something', whether it is a new growth or a new spike time will tell but I hope to one day have as good a specimen as yours.

Gorgeous!

Don't be afraid of Oncidiums! I had my earliest orchid growing successes with Oncidium and Onc alliance intergenerics

I used to be an Onc killer, and then mysteriously I figured them out. I still don't know what I am doing differently that makes them live rather than die. And Psychopsis has got to be one of the easiest Onc types to grow!

the basis for the fear is I got a noid onc at the local grocery and it had bulb rot. bulb rot? huh uh. next thing I know bec of my bad watering habits long ago I had a rot fest on most of my plants that were close to it...I think that was the 1st time orchids actually broke me down into some big shark tears..Im still remember.. ..

Yes I am the hypersensitive male you all speak of
