I have had this onc. for 4 years and it has not done anything for 3 years. This past month I divided it up and this division had no live roots that I could see, yet still I potted it up just to see what it would do and it produced "new growth". I'm so happy, now if only I can keep it alive.

...but Oncidiums don't grow keiki's do they? The only one's that I know of were Phals, Vandas, Dendrobiums, and their relations. I'm thinking only the monopodials? That is definitely a new growth, but I don't think keiki is the right term... is it? I thought that was the typical way for an Oncidium to grow. I have 7 Oncidiums, all with similar growth. The pseudobulb eventually develops within and pushes the leaves open.
