I've got a Batley Schwarz that is still flowering, and it has one new growth. I hope I'll get some more growths because I love the scent of it.

Thank you Carrie. Me either! It's infuriating sometimes waiting for the spikes and buds to mature. :)

It's like watching paint dry.
They are sooooo slow.

Exactly. Except with a little more tension thrown in as we sit and worry whether they might blast at the very last minute. ;)

Lovely scent off of these already and not yet fully open. :)

9 months from growth to bloom?!?!?! Geez!

It looks great though. I love the white around the edges of the bloom.

I know! It's never taken this long before but I won't complain because the pbulbs got really big and the spikes are branching - something they've never done before. Maybe it's properly mature now and no longer in a big hurry. :)

Orchids4ever, is yours blooming size? If so, this likes cooler temps, lots of water, and lower light levels. I grow mine in a north-east window. In spring and summer it gets some direct sun in the morning.

Thanks for the comments everyone!
