Default Colmanara Wild Cat "Yellow Cat"

Only one spike this year as suffered from lack of water and needs a repot.

That's a nice one! I'm sure it will bounce back once you repot it. These Wildcats are pretty hardy. Mine have put up with a lot of neglect over the years.

Gorgeous flower!! I guess that one spike is better than no spike at all.

Thanks Bill and Camille! I didn't take the whole spike as flowers hadn't opened,. They have now but today was cloudy. Ido intend to get her to grow two spikes back next year by 'looking after her better'.

One of the nicer Colmanara Wildcats - at least a nice change from the ones that are much darker.

Even with water neglect, this produced a beautiful bloom for you...they can really grow fast...I keep repotting this kind every season...the roots just wont quit and the bulbs get bigger

Very nice! I'll take 1 spike any day, but of course two would be better! I'd love to see the whole spike with open flowers too.
