My daughter's first orchid
Took my daughter to her first orchid show a couple of weeks ago. This was the ONE plant she couldn't live without. Very healthy with 7 spikes!!!! I am teaching her right don't you think?

It's a good thing she started at the affordable end of the spectrum. Handy that she didn't latch on to a $5,000+ paph

Such a happy looking plant! It looks like a twinkle to me as well.
It is a good easy candidate for a first orchid.

Yes, it is an onc. twinkle and she is 5 years old so I care for it at this point. But she is my helper on them.

Wait, she's five? So who really just bought an orchid here, lol... Did you really but another and you are just blaming your daughter! ROFL. Seriously though, she picked a great one. Congrats and your hopeful future orchidoligist!

Great plant...AWESOME mommy. Great way to spend time together. I'm betting she'll remember this for a long time
