Thanks everyone for looking! Maybe I'll post another photo when they all open up!
I will run it by Nancy and just for the record the tentative name is Rrm Orchidom Alameda Beth.

Thanks very much I have enough NOIDS. While I love them all, when you think you have a named one, it's sure a bummer to find out you don't!! They usually cost more too.

I'm a sucker for sunset colours!

Thanks! I do really like it at least! I actually got some replies back this morning. I e-mailed Orchidom yesterday when I hadn't heard from Dino said it is possible it could be what the tag says as there is a similar yellow ancestor. But it is an unusual colour for this hybrid. I couldn't send a picture from their contact link but have now. also Dino says they are not mericlones so will vary and he did have some labelling problems??? I've sent him the new picture too. It is a real sweety and I like it better than the picture of the one on Dino's site for the Bright dawn one.

Silken - I still think it is the other one. Yes there are yellow species in the one that you supposedly have but they are so far back that I don't see how they could come through. I've looked at alot of the crosses in it's background and have not been able to find any yellows. You may never know unless you eventually see a picture of one of the crosses that is so close their is not doubt.

Thanks for your help Glen. I got an e-mail from a Bill Savage with Orchidom. He says Rrm. Orchidom Alameda Beth has produced many yellows, but they all have spots on the lower lip. He said one of the parents of Rrm. Orchidom Bright Dawn is Tolu. Orchidum Good Works 'Alameda' which has produced a number of yellows similar to mine. He said while it is an unusual colour, it is well within the range expected from the cross. He feels sure I have the correct tag! He also said the lower petals on mine are particularly nice So after all that I will stick with the name it had. But I really appreciate your help.

Hey with it being a different color from the majority of the grex and a nice lip I would grow it up and get it to judging.

Thanks Bud. It's just one little plant. But hey, a ribbon is possible. I got one on a NOID Phal. at the last show! The guy from Orchidom did say that the flowers on these equitants continue to grow for some time after opening and don't reach full potential for a while after, so mine may need a week. But on cuteness I give it a blue ribbon

OK, I have a 5 hour drive so better get on my way!
