Wow, nice plant!
I have a couple of Sharry Babys here in Guate. They seem happy with the tropical climate.

Very nice! This is one I have never been able to find the sweet spot for in my home. Mine has died way back, but I finally two new leaf shoots growing, so we will see. Again, nice job!

Very Nice Sonya!
Seeing we are talking Sharry Baby, I have just found new spikes. I have 2 plants (one older one in s/h; one in bark) the s/h one just put out 2 spikes on the latest p/bulb in Dec/jan and I cut them off as they had dried up.
This week I found an other new spike emerging from an older p/bulb which had flowered last year (1 spike) & same with the other one! except noticed too late and it's bent.
I never expected to see more spikes from old growths. First time it has happened and on both my plants. Anybody have this happen to them?

Wow - I have never heard of that - very cool! I have had some intergenerics that get multiple spikes on pbulbs, but around the same time - I haven't heard of any Oncidiums reblooming from an older pbulb. Your's must be extremely happy!

Very nice Sonya. I have a small one growing in S & H and it has one spike. It is a small division of a very large plant that I got rid of because it was taking up too much room..
I have heard and read a lot about the spots on the leaves. Some said virus, others said fungus while others said bright light. It is just something that is common with the plant I think.

Yes, I can see it getting to 'takes up to much room' status - thankfully it's been ok growing outside year round here, cos it surely won't fit on my narrow windowsills!
I know Oncidiums are prone to spotting - this one has a lot on some older foliage, but it grows and blooms well, and the new growth looks good, so I haven't been stressing on it - but would look nicer without it

Nice! Mine the fragrance can be too strong for me to be around long. This past blooming not as much (or maybe I was just out later in the day to care for plants), but the previous year, it really gave me a headache.
This has since finished blooming, been potted up (AGAIN!) - into a 10" pot, which looks like it may hold the plant for a year and has a new spike
Have you posted a pic of your Sharry Baby for us to admire?
