Hehe - well this one is outside, but I do keep going by for a whiff when ever I am out there, or going into or out of the house

Yay for your spike! I'm sure yours will be attempting to take over your home before too long - mine grows like a weed

hehe - yeah - this can get very long spikes, so all that growing takes some time before buds start

I live in Colorado and when I rebloom plants of any kind, mine are always different in their color. Usually they're more robust in their color because I live in such an environment where we have warm days and cool to cold nights! I have some Hippeastrum that look nothing like they're intended coloring because of the temps and the swings these plants see.
Well done on reblooming this amazing orchid! I too have one that I got this past month. I grow mine in sh and it's already filling its pot. Crazy!

Yeah - we have big swings from day to night temps here too - especially in summer, when unless it's severely hot, nights are usually cool. And then I also leave a number of plants outside this time of year, and they get quite chilly at night ;p
