There is a small orchid store in my neighborhood, which I haven't visited for quite some time. It was a nice sunny day and so I decided to have a stroll around the area.
I found lots of oncidium intergenerics in the store. Yellow flowers stood out to me and I stepped inside.
It had no tag with it, but it definitely looked like Tiger Crow Golden Girl, one of the orchids on my wish list.
So this one came home. I carried it home with no protection and it was around 3 celcious today. It is still alive after 10 hours now, so I guess the 5 minute cold exposure didn't harm the plant.
It is slightly scented. and unfortunately, some leaves have those ingergeneric dark spots. hmmm
The first photo is me holding the plant on my way home. I got quite a few attention from passerby.
