Is there a yellow flowered Onc. tsiku marguerite??
I got this NOID yellow flowered mini oncidium two months ago that looks just like the regular tsik marguerite except of course for the flower color. I have had yellow flowered twinkle since last winter and they are similar yet different.
The plant body itself looks much the same as white/light pink flowered tsik marguerite I used to have. Dark green and rather straight upward foliage, slightly taller larger than twinkle, flower shape and size is the same as my yellow twinkle, fragrance is similar, flower color is rather bright lemon yellow as compared to deep golden yellow of my twinkle, flower spikes are strong and stand up straight well above the foliage, and three spikes per pb are produced while the spikes on twinkle are shorter and rather droopy, and one or two per pb.
So does anyone know if there's a yellow flowered tsiku marguerite?
I post pictures of both. The one with dark green leaves is the one in question. The other one is yellow twinkle.
By the way, all the flowers are gone except for a few, but I still like the way it looks. I think I'll leave them on until they yellow and brown on its own.
