Default Rehfieliara Jerry Pacific Empire

I got this in bud back in September. Without knowing what to expect, I was just drawn to the dark brown, almost black, spike and buds.
It had one very large spike that branched at the very bottom, making it look like two seperate spikes.

The flowers were star shaped and light yellow with chocolate markings. The lip turned white over time. Oh, also it had sweet scent during the day.

The bloom lasted for about one and a half month.
Shortly after all the flowers were gone, a new shoot grew out at the bottom of the huge pb.
It is about 5inch tall now.

Anyone ever grew this or growing one now?
I couldn't find any care tips, but I'm assuming it should be similar to general oncidium care.

Thank you, Sonya!
I hope this one will bloom again even if the bloom would not be as large. I loved the dark spike and buds. Once it spikes again, I should be able to watch and enjoy the dark spike to grow until the buds finally open up. That should be at least a month or two of joy.
Not that I don't like the flowers on this plant, but the spikes were very appealing to me. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture but I will take and post one in the future if I get lucky.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Prior name of this plant is properly written as Rehfieldara Jerry 'Pacific Empire', but since the Oncidinae have been reorginized it is Brassidium Jerry 'Pacific Empire'. More than 75% of the species used in this hybrid are cool to intermediate growing, so it will probably not be tolerant of hot temperatures.
Rehfieldara = Oncidium x Odontoglossum x Ada
Brassidium = Brassia x Oncidium
In this case, the Ada keiliana became Brassia keiliana, and all the Odontoglossums involved have been reclassified as Oncidiums.

Thank you for the information. I knew about the hybrid background of this plant, but not the reclassification.

How interesting! I have it in my bathroom to keep warm but I guess it should be alright by the window then.
It is growing a new shoot, so I might have to be careful in switching place now but I do notice that cooler growing orchids tend to grow better and faster in cooler setting.

Paul, Colmanara intergenerics involve Miltonia, Odontoglossum and oncidium in their breeding background. Wildcat series are popular example of Colmanara. Their flowers usually look fuller than skinny sharp look seen on this plant here.

Gorgeous.

I grow oncidiums on my cooler windowleges in the house in the winter, and in my greenhouse in the summer. They do seem to do best a little cooler than phals, but not as cold as something like my Masdies. Most of mine came with tags saying 12C minimum.

I think general Oncidium care should be fine for something like this.

Good point. I think the coloration an pattern is what made me think of the Wildcat series.
