Default Mule ear oncidium...........

This is no longer considered an oncidium. It's now Trichocentrum Kuguat. This is the second spike this year. It has more flowers than the first one. The plant is 41" tall and very fragrant.

WOW! That is a tall big plant! Is that an 8 inches pot? I love the flowers...nice texture, color combination and form...my plant is also spiking with only three leaves...I thought it was a fourth leaf but it was rounded tip and fat...I hope it will be as magnificent as your blooms, Tucker !

Ron, this pot measures 7" across. Don't be disappointed if the spikes on your's are smaller. This is the largest spike I've had and I'm sure it's because it's a large, well established plant that's been in the same pot for a couple of years. Good luck with yours.

That's lovely Tucker! Oncs. are at the top of my fave list at the moment I just missed a cherry baby yesterday that the spikes were trained around a bamboo hoop... I called them but they just sold the last one! Nice idea tho training tall ones like sharry and cherry baby over a bamboo hoop

It's very very nice, the colors/pattern are fantastic! I want one now , lol.

I really wonder how scientists come up with these twisted new names.....
