I got one of those too - all beat up. I am seeing another new growth but no spike. I'd love to get some beautiful blooms like those. How do you grow it? I have a Onc Rosy Sunset in bloom and other stuff. I put this outside in the summer but no spikes yet. Any tricks? I am getting lots of roots inside/ outside the pot.

Very pretty! These are now known as Trichocentrum. They used to be referred to as Mule Ear Oncidiums. I had the same one but it suddenly died for no apparent reason. I have one other Trichocentrum that seems to be doing very well and I'm in the market for more if I could find them. Congratulations on your new blooms.

I leave it outside in the summertime and spray it when i remember. I got it on sale at lowes, just bloomed. in a clay pot with almost no media. some wine corks and some pieces of lava rock. winter hanging by the window. slow grower.
