I'm couldnt wait untill it fully bloomed to post, i didn't realise the lip will change colour. Is this common with tolumnias?

Such a shame i burnt another division of the plant with my impatience.

Beautiful! I love it. I think Tolumnias might be my next genre to get interested in. Good growing.

Yes, no two flowers on Tolumnia's will be the same. They consistently change. Great growing BTW!!! I just noticed today that one of my two has about a 2 inch spike on it- I can't wait!!!! LOL....

Wondeful, and that touch of peach on the edges of the lip are fantastic.

Update

Looks like the peach fringe fades. I want to try the pink tolumnias next.

Beautiful! I love flowers that change colors as they age.

I think Tolumnia might have to be my next orchid adventure too! These yellow/peach ones are my favorites!

Very nice! I have one and hope it blooms one of these days! Does it get quite high light? Mine does have the purple colouring on the edges of the leaves so it should be getting enough light I would think.

WOW, now I can't wait for mine to bloom. They are the pink one's so I'll have to post once it blooms off the growing spike.
