Default Vuylstekeara Cindy "Pinky Lee" bloom pics

Bought this on ebay last October and it's the first time it's bloomed for me!! A little confused tho since all the pics I've seen of 'Pinky Lee' have spots on all the petals BUT it's still gorgeous

Seems like as the flowers get further down the spike they start having spots on the middle petals so maybe its just a maturity thing and subsequent blooms will be more typical? Also a bit concerned about some black spots on the lower leaves... was a bit worried this may have been virused but the flowers don't seem to show signs of that so maybe just a fungus thing? Thinking I should spray with Physan after the blooms fade but have never done that before so any advice on that would be much appreciated

Thanks!

Wow, that's lovely and the blooms look so big! Nicely grown!

Often oncidium types do get a few brown spots. I haven't used Physan so can't advise. Some sulphur powder dusted on the leaves would likely help and be less intrusive to use.

Beautiful!

Many Oncidium alliance plants are prone to spotting on foliage - new foliage should be free from it tho
