Onc Ornithorhynchum now in flower
Hi OB,
Here's the update I promised on my Onc spikes ( Onc Ornithorhynchum spikes)
Considering that the flowering p/bulb is only about an inch and a half big, I'm happy with the ammount of flowers. It's this little one's first flowering as well, which is nice, as I bought it as a baby

Hi, Yes they are, particularly when it's warmer in the room. I can't describe it though. I know lots of people use descriptors like 'chocolate' and 'vanilla', but, for me it's nicely powdery and a bit sweet.

Excellent Growing! It's beautiful!
I have had one a a couple of years still trying to give it what it needs. I can see ithat yours is planted in bark. What humidity and light do you keep it in?

Humidity's not that high. I mist it with the others depending on how hot it is, but it's in the house so the temps are quite steady (though the heating isn't on at night). With respect to light, it's in a pretty bright spot which only gets direct sunlight when it's low and sets.
