Rossioglossum Grande with flowers
Default Rossioglossum Grande with flowers

Hi,

I got this rossioglossum grande last year. it produced a big healthy growth but no flowers. After this unseccesful attempt,I exposed to full sun shine from autumn till april unlike previous year. I cant say it produced healthy growth as the leaves and pseudobulbs are quite small this year however both growths have flowers. by the way really look like a clown

I don't know why but I've always loved this orchid but never bought it. It's time I did!

Yes, lucky you! I have a Grande and a Rawdon Jestor, but no blooms so far. The grande grew two new growths but they are not fully mature yet and I am hoping maybe this is the year! The Rawdon Jestor grew one new growth and it too is not full grown yet.

I thought they liked cooler temps rather than warmth tho??

I love Grande and Rawdon Jester! (and yet I, too, have yet to add it to my collection) So much flower-power for a relatively compact plant!
