Talking My Dog Spot

Yes, this is an Orchid post. Yesterday, while at Carter and Holmes buying a Sharry Baby for a friend, I bought myself an Odtna. My Dog Spot "Waterfield Dalmation" .

It is gorgeous and smells great. Does anyone know what "Odtna." stands for and the culture for this 'chid? Obviously, this was a bit of an impulse buy!

Odontonia = Odtna = Miltonia x Odontoglossum

hi Lisa

Lovely flower, very "dalmata like"

I was looking for the breeding of this one because I didnīt know it. It seems that the name change to Colmanara, probably because some Odontoglossum changed to Oncidium.

RHS data

The culture is the same...
