thanks so much for whatever help you can provide... i am a newbie to orchids and got my first "dancing lady" about a month ago. i'd love for her to re-bloom in the fullest posisble way. where should i cut the spike now that the blooms have fallen?

As far down the spike as you can cut - no more flowers on this spike. As each new pseudobulb develops and matures it will have the potential of a spike to emerge from either or even both sides. Good luck. mike
