Default Oncidium tigrinum culture and flowering

Hi,
I've searched this forum for O. tigrinum - but it seems that nowbody grows this plant? I've got one plant which now is producing a spike in an incredibly speed - 17,5cm in 5 days - and wanted to compare and share cultural advices and photos.
It will still take some weeks until the first flower I suppose...
Thanks
Fer

Hi,
back here. I've been traveling through the worldwideweb searching anything related to Oncidium tigrinum and there is nearly nothing!! How can that be? O. tigrinum is one of the most important ancestors of lots of well-known and often-sold hybrids - and there is no mention of a single var. or forma or clone or even an award? As far as I know it has not changed name, unguiculatum and splendidum have long ago been given the status of good species.
Why are there so few references of this rewarding species?

Fer
