Isn't this a beauty. Striking purple colour. Flower is 4 and half inches wide. Has been flowering for weeks. Anyone got one.

I have Beallara Marfitch 'Unicorn Splendour' which is quite similar and they are beautiful, one of my favorites.

Thumbs up Marfitch 'Howard's Dream'
I got this small seedling of Beallara Marfitch 'Howard's Dream' from Happy House Orchids last year. The plant is still small -- I was only able to grow a short spike with two flowers. Beallara Marfitch 'Howard's Dream' was listed in RHS as the cross Miltassia Charles M. Fitch x Odontioda Fremar.

Now RHS has renamed this as an Aliceara (Alcra) Marfitch 'Howard's Dream', the cross Bratonia Charles M. Fitch x Oncidium Fremar.

But who can keep up or understand all of the changes

Soooo pretty!! Such a deep dark purple too Can't wait to see what yours looks like when it grows up Cabnc! I love how each individuals photographs can make flowers look different too... nice job guys!
