Thought you might like to see my final brassia blooms...she gave me one beautiful bloom each and every day, totalling 6. This is FIRST bloom on this new chid....My webcam pictures don't do the colours justice....
Chartreuese/yellow with white and chocolate brown spots...it at least shows you the nice form of this orchid.
just gorgeous!

Helen, Even the best camera's don't capture all the depth of coloring. You just have to see some with your own eyes.
Beautiful blooms

Very very nice Lisa...3 spikes? Wow....what is the NAME of your Brassia and approx. how old is it?
I can't make out the colours, is it yellow/chartreuse?

Thumbs up Brs. particulars

Helen, my Brs. is Datacasa 'Coos Bay' x Edvah Loo-logissima 'Valentino'. I call it Tango. The flowers are more of a yellow than a chartreuse with chocolate/marroonish markings. I'm not sure of the age. I've had it 6 weeks and it had 1 spike in bloom then. It has 6 or 7 pseudobulbs. I know you are excited about yours. Congrats, Lisa

Waahhhhh.... Mine still hasn't opened yet! Its got three spikes - the third just appeared this week, so I'm expecting quite a long flowering period. I've had the plant two years and this is the second time its flowered. The first time it only had one spike - so you have a lot to look forward to Helen! I will post photos here of mine when it finally opens.
