Default Miltonia 'Sunset' flower open

Well, here it is, my long awaited Miltonia 'Sunset' flower. It started to open yesterday morning and by mid afternoon it was fully open. There's another bud on the other spike starting to open now as you can see. Great to see the colour gracing my windowsill once more.

It's far prettier in real life than it is on a computer picture! Sadly though, it isn't perfumed. The 2nd flower has opened now

I love the little blush towards the column... and the veining in the lip - just beautiful.

I actually didn't like this flower when I first saw it but it grew on me. I wasn't sure of the colour scheme on it but then I thought I would give it a try. I'm glad that I did. I even have another one at near flowering size lol.

Gorgeous! My friend has this one and I have ordered one from Ecuagenera which I will get when they come to Canada in the fall. Hope I do as well with mine as you did with yours!
