Odcdm Wildcat

I won this in a raffle last year and its produced a great bulb & this flower ( one of about 15 on the spike )
I have no idea what variety it is.

That's stunning. I thought Wildcat was a dark red flower. I would love to get one like your's.

In trying to find what clone it is as its a m/clone, I found heaps on a google search with a huge variation in colors and markings. No help to me though.

It made me think of Wildcat 'Ocelot' and I've just found a picture of that which confirms it's similar.

I would not necessary give it an ID based on that picture unless you know for certain it is a named clone, but it does look similar.

Hi Rosie, I was thinking mine could be this also. Votes in favour of Carmela came in strong.
I did find a pic of Carmela that confirmed mine as it, the lip markings and shape of flower were spot on. They do vary though, probably the cloning.

Here is a picture of my 'Carmela' clone. The lip patterning changes from year to year. The light yellow areas fade to white as the flower ages.

Thanks Terri, I also rechecked the 'Ocelot' noted by RosieC. It could be one of 3 if the lip markings change as you say they do. Maybe none of us have the right name on our plants ?
