My new Tolumnia
Here are pics of my new Tolumnia. I do not know yet what it is, but once it blooms I can send a picture to the nursery and they will ID it! Sorry for the shaky pics, don't know why its like that!
UPDATE!
Ok, so here is a picture from June 9th! I forgot to post this picture, and I do not have a more recent one because my brother took the family camera to Europe for three weeks, but he is getting back today, so you should have some pics tomorrow. No blooms yet! Here is the spike on June 9th.

I don't have any Tolumnias but I like the way you're growing them. I'm a big fan of net pots and I grow a lot of orchids in coconut husk chips. Good luck.

Nice new fan!
I'll second what WhiteRabbit said -- keep an eye on the medium and the roots. I find that bark / coconut tends to hold too much humidity down inside, which ends up leading to very unhappy tolumnia!

My research would indicate the same thing as others have said. Water in the morning and be sure it is dry by the evening. Use only RO, distilled water or the like when watering, and if you used distilled water be sure to put a small amount of urea free fertilizer that has trace elements in it for each watering.
Best of luck! I've heard these guys are a bit hard to get used to growing, but that hasn't stopped me from buying two and attempting at the moment!
Keep us updated!

I have about 20 of them. They like good light, fresh air and clean water. They're a bit tricky in the winter, our rh. is generally too low. I grow them mounted, so can can keep an eye on their roots.
They are very addictive. The only draw back is their susceptible to scale. Be on the look out for them, and have rubbing alcohal at hand. Be merciless when you find them.

WELL! I HAVE BLOOMS! This is a fully opened bud that I snipped of to take a better picture of it. I am also going to e-mail the vendor with this to get the ID. I will add another picture of the whole spike once the remaining buds are open.
