I share some pictures of Miltonia clowesii in which we can see some color variations of this species.

Thanks for a reminder of species variablity. I think it is easy for us to end up with a very narrow and misleading concept of what a species 'should' look like.

Joann,
The dark one is a Miltonia clowesii type (the easiest to find, very common), the yellow one is the variety aurea and clearer believe we can classify as amesiana variety.
