OOPS impulse buy. My bad!

I've just recently bought my first Brassia.... B. brachiata, also my first Oncidium O. Sharry Baby X Dancing Doll.

I know nothing much about growing them but the plant habit looks like Miltonias of which I have a couple of NoIDs that grow like weeds outdoors for me. I'm in a frost free area with winter minimum temps down to about 7C/ 44F. The Miltonias get full sun in the mornings but shaded in the afternoon. Should I treat these new additions like the Miltonias?

Should I mount or pot? If potting a coarse mix? Basket or solid pot?

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

I read in a orchid book that you can mount them on wood.
