Oncidium 'Sharry Baby'

everyone,

Can anyone tell me how long it takes from spike to bloom on 'sharry baby'. I bought one last year and repotted it and it grew 3 new growths on it and nothing else happened so I kinda gave up on it blooming. So this winter I held back the water and to my suprise, I found 3 spikes on those 3 new growths! I am so excited, this is my first one, I can't wait for it to bloom..when it does, I will post pics!

In my experience it looks like if you can increase the amount of sunlight your spike will grow faster. But for me it can be as little as 3 weeks from when I first see the spike starting to as long as 6 weeks before the flowers open.
