Oncidium Little Angel new PSB's yellowing... Male
Default Oncidium Little Angel new PSB's yellowing...

Hello Ochid people,
This is my first post... looking for some wisdom with my favorite Onc.

I've had this Little Angel for two years and have split it off twice into small rafts(4"). All three growths have been very healthy and have bloomed consistently....

so I decided to bring one into work to show it off.

Well, since its been here under a desktop FL light it has started to yellow where it shouldn't. The new bulbs and leaves look sickly and are spotted.

I was away from the office for the Holidays so it wasn't watered for 9 days. Upon returning to work I found my Little Angel with the discoloration and spots....

Watering has only made it worse so far... I usually water once a week and mist if its dry. That works fine at home in a south facing window... but not under a FL tube light at work.

What's going on here??? Too much FL light??? Too much water on my return??? Not enough humidity??? Fertilize it???

Please help, I don't want to loose this one...

Welcome to the Orchid Board. Sounds like its in shock from environment change.
Not enough light, not enough humidity, not enough water, sounds like it wants to go home. Its lonely! No magic trick here, you'll have to take each possible problem and try and solve it if you want this orchid to stay at the office.
