Oncidium looks unhealthy
The leaves are kind of twisted or curled. Doesn't look too happy to me. Kept outside, get watered at least once a week, all other surrounding plants look good & are growing. Second photo shows where I have the orchids. I would appreciate any ideas or advice, always get good info from forum members.

It doesn't look that bad to me.
I don't know that much about the different Oncidium types but could the twisting leaves just be part of it's genetics?
Otherwise, it looks nice.

Looks kind of dry to me. Once a week watering, especially outside probably isn't enough.

I think it looks pretty good. I find Oncidiums to be a little fussy. It's a huge genre with plants that like all different kinds of environments. As far as watering I have read that you go by the leading psuedobulb. Often the back bulbs will look wrinkled and dehydrated but if the lead bulb is plump then it's getting enough water. By the way, I love your growing area and the way you have those pots hung on the wall. Have fun.

I think Kim is right, my oncidiums will do the same thing if I don't water them at least 2X a week when they're outside in summer. It doesn't seem to hurt them any, but they don't look so great.

I have several oncidiums, and I can tell you that some of them do have leaves that curl and "weep" (for lack of a better word) and others are more erect and sword-like. It really depends what kind you have. I would research images on google and see if your specific kind tends to do what it is doing.
Without knowing particulars, my first thought was that it looked like it needed more water (or less water as symptoms of these two sometimes appear the same initially). If they are outside and it is windy or hot, you probably need to water more frequently than once a week.
Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks everyone,
I'll try more frequent watering . I don't know what the specific plants are that I have only the family ie phal. catt. oncidium etc.

That is some good advice. I will remember that and stop fretting over my own Oncidiums.
