Default Miltonia

Milt. Hajime Ono 'Maui Falls' Am/Aos X Milt. Hajime Ono 'Maui Mist' Hcc/Aos. has opened up ( I think ) not thrilled with the back swept petals , but like the color . It has a second spike not open yet . Thanks for looking .. Gin

Love the color as well, the back swept is that a norm for Milts? or is it just stretching

Actually the petals are pretty typical for Miltoniopsis..The cupped lip is more of a fault and perhaps it won't cup on the next blooming. I have a few seedlings of similar sib crosses of Hajime Ono and they range quite a bit in quality.

Very nice coloration!
I have difficulty with Milts though I love them. I think it's the humidity factor. Maybe I will make another attempt at a Milt. someday.

Congrats! These Miltonia/Miltoniopsis hybrids are very interesting to grow, and usualy easy bloomers. The shape is very similar to Miltoniopsis vexillaria (former Miltonia). Today only brazilian Miltonias retain this name; another south american beauties are now Miltoniopsis (better shape and funnier colors than brazilians, and from which almost all "Miltonia" hybrids are derivering)
