Cool Huge Onc. Sharry Baby in bloom!

I have never had a Sharry Baby..mostly because Oncidiums don't do well for me. I saw this Sharry Baby and was stopped in my tracks...it was just huge! For less than 30 bucks what could an orchid addict do but buy it?

Just to show you the size of this thing I had to give it it's own stand next to my orchid bench.

Here it is in bloom and many more spikes and buds coming...it smells like a candy shop!

Onc. Sharry Baby 'Sweet Fragrance'

Very nice plant. Thanks for sharing. I struggle with oncidiums also but I keep trying because I really like them. Congratulations on that beauty.

I don't know why they haven't done well for me in the past. Either this one will survive amoung my Catts or it won't. I haven't repotted this one yet because I wanted to wait till the blooms were spent. But once it does it's going in aliflor and charcoal just like all the others.

Whether it likes it or not...

Thanks all for the comments. Much appreciated!

I am in FL. The backyard is kinda woodsy which makes for a great growing area. Glad you like it!

It has many more spikes that are still branching out. I wonder how much longer it is going to bloom for me. Could be awhile! (I hope)
