Thanks Shann,
It had about the same amount of white last time it flowered, but I've seen lots of pics of Sharry Baby with more white than this. The red seems darker on this flowering though, I'm sure it was a brighter red last time.
The fragrance is not as noticable now as when it first opened but I still catch the ocasional waft of it. I really love this orchid

Hi Rosie as well as anyone else who has one..
Does yours 'smell' at any particular time? As I have noticed its mostly in the late afternnon / early evening.(especially when sun shining on it) I have 2 spikes on it this time round and came home a couple days ago around 6.30pm and the scent had filled the whole 'downstairs' of my house! (it's been in flower for 2 weeks) First time I have really smelt it this strong.. so much so ... that I decided I just had to squeeze another one in and ordered my second one yesterday from the same grower.

Nenella,
Mine seems to be fragrant all through the day and even into the evening after it's dark outside (although standard lights are on).
I was mentioning to a few people on facebook though, that it seems to loose the fragrance when it needs watering. Not sure the reason and I know I probably underwater it as I'm still frightened of overwatering, but for a few days the fragrance had gone, now after watering it it's back all day long.

Hi everyone, I have heard that pleating of the leaves can come from dryness. Maybe the plant was too dry when those leaves formed.

I think you're right and I should have said that in my post above. I know the cause on mine... just can't get the watering balance right. Looks like I completely omitted to say the cause when Eddie mentioned it.
Yes, pleating in leaves is a sign of not enough water when they were growing. Once pleated they stay that way, but new growth should be OK if the water right water balance is found.

I had that happen to me the first year, I have since has it in S/H and I have not had any more pleating of the leaves and even got 2 spikes on one mature growth this year!
