Default psychopsis mendenhall

my psychopsis looks like he has spike growing

Its my turn to have some homegrown blooms now

not very big but has little spike on the bottom of the last bulb thats heading straight up for the sky..he lives in a glass jar too...I got them at the dollar store for well a dollar and bought all 15 of them for my windows and to give the plants some needed local humidity..The lava rocks get warmed in the east window, the sphagnum sweats and makes water inside, then the clay picks up the water and transfers it to the plant in the net basket

you can see it stays so warm in the jar the sphagnum is coming back to life too

This one looks great too. A word of caution...be very careful to not get new pseudobulbs wet, cause they'll rot in a heartbeat. I've been struggling with my Medenhall for 2 years and I've learned to keep the little growths dry until they're about 3" tall.

thanks for that !! the sphagnum is very dry thank goodness...

he just needed to be held into the basket with something and the sphagnum looked good

he started going to temp drops at night also like the paphs and its amazing so far to me anyway what a 10-15 degree drop at night will do for some plants

I notice the bulbs at the end of the string are pretty dried out and Im learning how these plants move around so much...I Think if the bulbs keep popping out after a few years the plants going to across town
