Here are the 'chids that are brightening up the place at the moment

Beallara Peggy Ruth Carpenter 'Morning Joy'

Prosthechea cochleata

Ascda Princess Mikasa Blue. Been in bloom since April, still going strong and has another spike coming

The rest are all NOIDs unfrotunately. Feel free to venture any guesses!

Big Yellow Phal, has a slight green fragrance and about 17 blooms

Little Yellow Phal. Has very pleasant scent and looks a lot like Brother Sara Gold, I think

Two Paphs which grow in the same pot but don't see eye to eye

A pink Paph

And an intergeneric of some sort which my boyfriend bought for himself. I look after it, of course!

Elena, is there any way you could post an overall picture of the flower display? I'd LOVE to see how it all looks - gotta be wonderful!

Thank you guys, I'm glad you like them!

Ross, the ones in bloom are dotted around the living room and the big bay window rather than being all in one spot (the rest are in the spare bedroom). I'll try to take some pictures for you tomorrow but my previous attempts of photographing the windows were somewhat disastrous

Oh, and apologies for the black background. He he

I was thinking the same when I saw your pictures. I took s the morning of a few phals in bloom and moved them to a more natural background. Ross was hangin' on my shoulder shaking a finger

Hey, hey I never said a word, did I I understand the "spread all over" concept - I would be doing the same if I had more windows acceptable. Don't go to any trouble, just had this picture in my mind of an old Stewart's Catalog

You might say this in jest, but if one person gets the idea, it may spread, soon we'll need to go back to black backgrounds because natural has become cliche' I actually await the results (not for criticism, mind you) but interest. You have such nice plants.
