Your probably right about the new bulb forming.
What color is a spke on these orchids anyways??

Hi Gloria,

My two spikes are dark to light green. They are very slender like the old rabbit ear tv antenna's. lol Best way I know how to discribe it.

OoOoh then it's a bulb - it's green and reddish & no rabbit ears, LOL! Well a new bulb is great too.
