Default Burrageara Pacific Go

Just opening this week is my Burr. Pacific Go (who names these plants?! ). The flowers are relatively small and the plant is quite compact. My favourite aspect of this plant is the fact that it is fragrant. I don't know of any Burrageara that are fragrant, although I'm sure there are others. I didn't realize at the time it would be fragrant so it ended up as a bonus!

I've never heard of that genus. Is this an intergenereric? Really nice blossom, by the way.

Great pic! I do know of one other Burrageara which is fragrant, Burr Nelly Isler. I have two of these and they are both fragrant.

Burrageara is an intergeneric between Miltonia, Cochlioda, Odontoglossum and Oncidium. Nelly Isler has Miltoniopsis not far back in the ancestry thus makes sense that it would be fragrant. Mine has Oncidum maculatum and leucochilum in the mix and both of those are fragrant, so that explains mine! Stranely I have other intergenerics with those species and they have no fragrance...go figure!
