I'm in the Colorado Chorale (youngest member, woo!), which rehearses on tuesdays, so I can't go to meetings except in summer and early fall. This past june 8th was my first one- and I LOVED it. Haven't felt so welcomed and included in a very long time. I wish they met in July and August.
That being said- I joined anyways, so that I can go to more meetings, since I can get to about five or six a year.

I'm very excited for the Botanic Gardens to get finished (I'm a member there) and go to the DOS show there in October- that will be my first show ever! Maybe we can meet up?

I am a real fan of green flowers- these cool, soothing colors are such a respite in arid CO. Probably my favorite color in orchids. Wouldn't know it by collection, I only have one noid phal that's almost green/yellow.

I wonder if these or other Oncidiums would like it outside here?
I don't know how well it would do outside. I'm too chicken to try it with mine. Our sun, along with our dry winds, would do a number on my orchids!

I'm insanely short on time so I don't think I'll join the DOS, but yes, I do plan on going to their shows. And sure we can meet. Chas, another member here on OB, and I tried to meet up once but he went on day two of the show, and I went on day one. Minor detail! LOL

yup nice brassia they like lots of light and water, at least mine do in 60% humidity and 80 degree temps. Could probably stand about 10% more humidity but my kitchen is hot already...I give mine full east exposure till about 11 am then move them over to the southside for the rest of the day then back to the window at night so I dont have to get up early to move them lol...the brassias grow so fast you might need a pot with wheels on it of you have to move them around like I do..but enjoy the plant they really look good specimen sized
