Need advice on RFDRA leaves - Orchid Board

I have had this huge RFDRA Rehfieldara Jerry 'Pacific Empire' for 3 years now and it's bloomed for me faithfully each year. I split it in two last fall and one half of the plant looks fine and has two beautiful spikes, but the other half's leaves look bad with speckling or dappling throughout. However, it also has two beautiful spikes. What is happening with these leaves and what should I do? Thanks for the

Well I'm stumped as to why it split in half. But for the coloring for the half that has the spikes, to me it just looks like it is showing signs of getting high light. I wouldn't go much brighter with it. Is the other half growing next to it in the same conditions?

Sorry Becca, I explained that wrong. I purposely split the plant last fall because my friend wanted part of it. Her half of the plant is growing very well at her house. My half is looking spotty in the leaves.
So you think it's sun causing the leaves to be spotty? I had it in bright early morning light window but it was never in direct sunlight. Thanks for your comments.

I think it is your leaves reacting to high light then! I would leave it as you have it know...obviously it is happy since it has two spikes. But I am curious about the previous times it bloomed....did it not have the spotting to it? You could try and back the lighting off a tad...but if you don't get any blooms after doing that then you will know what to do!
