I've just bought a lovely plant labelled Miltonia moir moir.
I can't find any information about it's parentage. Can anybody help?

its parents are Miltonia Goodale Moir and Miltonia May Moir

That is probably correct. Miltonia Moirmoir is Miltonia Goodale Moir x Miltonia May Moir.

What I'm trying to find is the species that have gone into it's make-up. I grow all my orchids outside - naturalised on trees, on tree fern stumps, or in the ground, as appropriate - so a knowledge of the background is useful in placing them. Growing like this means it's not easy to just shift them around to try different conditions.
