8 inches of fresh wet snow here today and still snowing. Last year it was 30 deg F warmer.

BTW, that is still one nice looking plant.

Thanks, but I am convinced the leaves worn't curled last year and I know for certain the flowers opened completey. But then I was in a more jovial mood last year this time as well

It's afraid of the cactus.

I noticed that you have it in clay. I found that when I used to grow my orchids in clay, they would do things like this since clay allows so much salt build-up. How long have you had it in that pot, and how often do you fertilize?

I'm not a miltonia expert by any means, but mine don't seem to require too much light, in fact I've read that they prefer slightly shady locations, but not total darkness either. They sure like the water and humidity though. It's nice and large too, maybe it needs to be divided, then you can send me a piece.

Hi hope it improves with the weather.

Cacti in soil, but Miltonia in bark... sorry. That cactus (have no idea what name) has been with me since it was a seedling (umpteen years ago) and I just can't part with. I water it maybe 3 or 4 times a year and it just keeps getting taller. Why would I get rid of it? Doesn't bloom - so it's not a favorite, but doesn't die like my dendros have. Hope the Miltonia improves, not sure why - cause it's not my fav' but it is a cuty nevertheless.

I do not think it is humidity related as I live in the Dominican Republic where humidity never drops below 70% and I too have curled leaves on a few Oncidiums.
