Oh, that is gorgeous. Nice pictures too! I have 2 Milts and I just hope they bloom. I think I have to try to give them a little bit cooler days during the summer. I will try placing them near the floor in our greenhouse. Enjoy yours!

Amazing thread guys and great pictures. I brought home a milt. that was speaking to me about a month ago. It had three spikes! One of which was in flower at the time. The flowers lasted about 1-2 weeks and then the other 2 spikes began to flower. They're just beautiful.

The other day I noticed that the back of one of the flowers had brownish circles (about 2-3mms across). Luckily, they don't show through to the front of the blooms and they don't seem to be affecting the flower. all the other flowers seem normal.

Any ideas what this might be? Fungus? Burned petals?

I'll try and post some pics.

I saw something like that on one of mine too. I don't think it's a fungus, but maybe a natural part of these flowers. Hard to say though, the flowers don't seem to last very long at all. I'm trying something different with my lastest Milt. I'm keeping it in my orchid enclosure where the humidity is much, much higher and constant, unlike my bathroom.

Here's a picture of the latest Miltoniopsis, NOID at this point. It came with no tag.

A nice and interesting combination of colors! I have read in several sources that Milts need fairly high humidity to ensure the flowers open completely. Maybe it will prolong their bloom as well.

Thanks Chas. I love how delicate that Milt is.

What a great group of pics. Thanks for sharing.

Please let us know how the Milt likes the higher humidity in the enclosure.
