Hi everybody!
I received this little Oncidium last summer and now I can finally see its flowers. They're very cute and sweetly fragrant!

Hope you enjoy!

Thank you all, I'm so happy you appreciate: I like sharing my little successes and this is the reason why I try to take the best photos I can

Thank you Nenella!
This hybrid seems to be very very generous and easy growing: I'll move it onto a cork slab as the spring will arrive
I've no idea about the grower: I don't give so much importance to the kind of clone, the only thing I care is to know the botanical name, the rest is for professional growers (and I'm not ).
Anywhere... I received this for gift and I can ask for the person who gave it to me
ah... Grazie per il complimento per le foto, j'aime mes filles tellement que je cherche à faire la plus belle photo possible, aussi pour ne oublier pas

Beautiful plant and blooms. Yes, the red variety is available but listen to this tale.
A local vendor and fellow member of the HOS tried to order red Twinkles in time for Valentine's day. The growers are taking advantage of the holiday and hiked up the prices a lot, according to her. When she protested, they told her to raise her prices, too. After all, the price of roses is raised for Valentine's day. She has refused to do that although it may cost her sales. Later on, when the demand for the red Twinkles is less, she is going to order them, hopefully at the normal price.
Meanwhile, she had another plant that looked like Twinkle but is larger, both the plant as well as the flowers. I don't remember the name. I wanted it but she had it on hold for someone until 1:00 pm. I told her if the person doesn't pick it up, to keep it for me.
Anyhow, maybe the difficulty with getting the red variety will resolve itself in a week or two.

Well, I got my plant although it wasn't the very one the vendor was holding but the same variety, etc. It is Onc. Rosy Sunset 'Rosebud'. Cute pink flowers. Maybe down the road if I come across the red variety of Twinkle, I'll consider it.

Can you post a pic of the pink one? It sounds interesting to me. I have the red one. It is labeled as Red Fantasy but it also says Pink/Red on the same label. It's still a small plant but it is in bloom now.
