I bought this plant at a store in a town near where i live because i wanted to try and oncidium intergenaric in s/h. It was half price because it had scale and was badly underwatered. I didn't think it was beyond saving though, the perfect plant for experimenting. Upon bringing it home i plopped it into s/h. That was in september. It is an awarded division or clone because it had some awards after its name. I lost the tag though and I can't remember which ones . The flowers started opening 2 days ago so arent quite full open yet.

here is the whole plant, there are 8 flowers in total

and a close ups of the flowers

Nice job flowering this one! FYI, this clone has an HCC and a CCM, both from the AOS.

Thumbs up

I just love the colouring of the flowers on this one! Good growing. It has been on my wishlist for awhile - now even more so!

Ooh, nice save! And very nice blooms. I envy people who can revive Oncidiums like that. If I don't get a healtlhy one to begin with it usually dies.

I may be biased, but home grown blooms are the best anyway, aren't they?

Store bought blooms are like someone else's baby.
Cute, but...
